National Sporting Organisation - Athletics West IS affiliated.
*Athletics West is not affiliated with Little Athletics Australia, but the Little Athletics WA program remains a part of the West Australian offerings.
AW - Athletics West
This State body is responsible for the overall running of Senior and State Level competitions in Athletics. Little Athletics is one part of this organisation.
A State Pathways Advisory Committee (PAC) has representation from all facets of the sport to assist the organisation in improving. 
Zone - A Group of Centres in the Area.
The Zone is responsible for the conduct of the Zone Championship Competition.

Ridgewood Athletics Centre is in the North Zone, along with Joondalup AC, Hamersley LAC, UWA LAC,  Kingsway LAC and Swan Valley LAC. 
2025 Zone Championship Competition will be held at Kingsway Sporting Complex (Kingsway LAC Home Ground)
Centre - A Group of Clubs in an Area
The Centre has an Executive Committee elected at the Centre Annual General Meeting. The Executive Committee administers the Centre and is responsible for Centre Meetings which may be attended by two Delegates from each affiliated Club at times during the Season.​
Club - A Group of Registered Athletes in an Area
The Club has a Committee drawn from Parents of registered Athletes and other interested persons.  The Committee arranges running the Club, Training for the registered Athletes and organises Social activities.

Ridgewood Centre has 5 clubs: Butler, Clarkson, Mindarie, Quinns and Yanchep.
