*This age group is offered for Year 12 students who are born earlier than 2007. Please note this age group is not offered at the Australian All Schools Championships
** U16 and U17 at State Relays compete as a combined age group.
*** Top 3 in Little Athletics U15 Combined Event Championships are eligible for U15 Australian Little Athletics Championships.
# Athletes born in 2012 can compete in either, or both, State Championships in February/March as per the details on the Athletics West State Championships page. This is to provide a transitional year between the two events.
^ Athletes born in 2013 are eligible to qualify for the Australian Track & Field Championships under Athletics Australia's rules and can compete at the WA State Track & Field Championships in the Under 14 Age Group if they choose to. However, it is recommended athletes compete in their relevant age group and any 2013-born athlete considering competing in the U14 age group should review the event specifications on the Athletics West State Championships page as hurdle heights and throws implements will be higher/heavier.
