The Ridgewood Athletics Centre Championships are held over two weeks in February/March each year.
The standard two-week program is used for these championships.

The Centre Championships is the pinnacle of each Season, by giving all Athletes a chance to compete and rewarding the top three Athletes in each of their Age Groups and selected Events with Medals.
Centre Championship Medals are awarded for First, Second and Third for each Age Group and in each Event.
To be eligible for a Centre Championship Medal in an event, the athlete must have competed in that event a minimum of THREE (3) times during the current Ridgewood Centre Home Event Season at Halesworth Park, Butler, including at least once during 2026.
Please note the Inter Centre competition between Ridgewood Athletics, Joondalup Athletics and Hamersley Athletics on November 29th, 2025, is excluded from the eligibility criterium due to the special event rules and regulations associated with this event.

Clubs will be competing for the Centre Championship Day Perpetual Trophy.
Eligible Multi Class athletes will also be competing for the Ridgewood Athletics Centre Multi Class Championship Medals. The results from the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, Long Jump, Shot Put, Discus and Javelin events will be scored against the Athletics Australia Multi-Class Baseline Scoring System that is utilised at State and National competitions. These 8 events will be combined into one final score with the Top 3 athletes in the Under 9 to Under 12 Multi Class Division and the Under 13 to Under 17 Multi Class Division to receive medals. These medals will be presented at the conclusion of Centre Championships Program 2. Medals will be awarded to Community Member categories if the following criteria are met:
2 Competitors – Gold Medal Only, 3 Competitors – Gold and Silver Medals, 4 or more Competitors – Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals.
