Equipment Specifications
Athletics West Little Athletics Program Event Specifications are utilised as part of the Ridgewood Athletics Centre Rules of Competition.
Ridgewood Athletics Centre follows the prescribed hurdle heights/distance and throw implement weights. The High Jump starting heights and Long/Triple Jump board distances will be determined by the Ridgewood Athletics Centre Board from time to time.

From time to time, changes are made to the specifications of events that athletes compete in.
This season, Athletics West have updated the following specifications:
Under 13 (2014) Shot Put - 3kg
Under 14 (2013) Discus - 1kg
Under 13 M (2014) Javelin - 600g
