Inclusion Framework (LU: 29 Sept 24) |
Ridgewood Athletics Centre is an Inclusive Centre. Open to all athletes aged 5 years and above regardless of ability or capacity to participate.
We have developed an Inclusion Framework and will continue to build upon and expand this framework as our involvement with athletes with disabilities continues to grow.

It is important for members to inform both your club and the centre of any additional support that your athletes may require so we can assist them and ensure all athletes are included.
Championship Event Medals
Eligible Multi Class athletes will be competing for the Ridgewood Athletics Centre Multi Class Championship Medals. The results from the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, Long Jump, Shot Put, Discus and Javelin events will be scored against the Athletics Australia Multi-Class Baseline Scoring System that is utilised at State and National competitions. These 8 events will be combined into one final score with the Top 3 athletes in the Under 9 to Under 12 Multi Class Division and the Under 13 to Under 17 Multi Class Division to receive medals. These medals will be presented at the conclusion of Centre Championships Program 2. For more information regarding these medals, please speak to Maria Flamini (Inclusion Officer) or Matthew Vine (Championships Director).
More information regarding the Ridgewood Athletics Centre Inclusivity Program will be confirmed soon.
